At PATH, we understand how trauma can impact a child’s development and utilize the
Trauma Symptom Checklist for Children with each intake.
Our case managers ensure that the children we serve have their physical, mental, and
emotional needs met at school and at home by advocating for evidenced-based mental
health services, assisting in implementing education plans, safety plans, and other necessary
PATH provides a youth allowance to financially cover participation in extracurricular
activities that are of interest to our kids. Monthly summaries are completed for each child to
identify how things are going for them, what needs they have, and how their goals are being
met. PATH sends satisfaction surveys to legal custodians for the child, the child’s biological
family, and the child themselves on a quarterly basis to ensure these integral people feel
they are receiving quality services from their PATH case manager.
