GRANT LIFTS MLA TO NEW HEIGHTS We are very grateful for the $5,550 grant on behalf of the Benton Telecommunications Foundation to be used to assist in the purchase of automatic belay systems for our climbing wall. While in Garrison, our group talked to Wendy, Assistant Manager at McDonald’s, about working at the restaurant and their application process. Our group also received a facility tour. We are very thankful for the warm hospitality shown to us during our visit! A McDonald’s employee demonstrated the assembly of a burger for Mille Lacs Academy youth. The Mille Lacs Academy group received a tour of the Garrison McDonald’s, and learned about working at the restaurant and how to apply.
